Food & Drink
The Dog Bar was first established in Charlotte, NC in 2005. We are very excited to expand this unique concept to the “Grand Central District” of St.Pete. The “Dog Bar” is best described as a hybrid between a Doggie Day Care or private Dog Park, and a full liquor, beer, wine bar. Our goal is simple: We are here to “Serve up Fun” for you and your pups in an enjoyable, safe environment.
Our location is over 5,000 sq.ft. The indoor space is over 3,000 sq. ft. and includes several large tv’s to watch your favorite sporting events. Your favorite adult games including Ping Pong, Skee Ball, Jenga, Connect Four and Corn Hole will also be provided. Our outdoor space is over 2,000 sq.ft. With both an “On Leash” and “Off Leash” area.
Blending the best seafood and turf selections from the basic American palate with a distinct Polynesian flair, The Hive Bar & Restaurant (coming winter 2018) takes its name from the honorable Vintin J. Hive himself. Yet, more importantly, it borrows liberally from his stack of tall tales and culinary adventures in the creation of a refreshingly unique dining experience—one that takes you away to the banks of the South Pacific without breaking your personal bank account here at home!
Fresh. Local. Family Owned.
Waleed and Mary Khalel are the owners of Zaytoon Grill. Waleed, the patriarch of the family was born in the ancient city of Jerusalem. He has lived in the U.S. for over 35 years. Mary Khalel, his wife of 30 years, is from the great state of Kentucky. Together they raised 2 children, Mohammed and Sheren, and have 2 grandchildren, Laila and Nasir. Opening Zaytoon Grill is the fullfillment of a lifelong dream to offer the same unique flavors and recipes as the shops and restaurants that line the streets of my father’s hometown.
Central Avenue is where we decided to showcase our food and share with the community our love of fresh, healthy and delicious food. Stop by and say hi to Wally, Mary and Mo and see for yourself.
