Grand Central District Association was formed to promote businesses along Central Avenue, First Avenue North and First Avenue South, from 16th to 31st streets in St. Petersburg. Our district is designated as both a national and state Main Street community. Throughout the year, Grand Central hosts events including St. Pete Pride, Hogs & Dogs festival and the Chili Cookoff. This year we started monthly trolley hops to highlight our great neighborhood.

LocalShops1.com is Tampa Bay’s largest network of local, independent businesses and indie-minded shoppers. LS1 combines a grassroots approach with traditional advertising and social media to promote small businesses. In our first year, we won a $250,000 ad campaign in a marketing competition and our founder was a finalist forTampa Bay Business Journal Businesswoman of the Year. The St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce, the largest Chamber in the Tampa Bay region and celebrating its 110th year of leadership and service, is a dynamic membership association of nearly 2,600 business and professional organizations, banded together in the interest of aiding and promoting job retention and creation, both locally and regionally.
ABOUT THE LS1/GC DISCOUNT CARD
The 1-Card is a free card that gives shoppers discounts at participating businesses. Think of it like a store loyalty card, but valid at dozen of businesses, instead of just one. Shoppers love discounts, but they don't love cluttering up their wallets. The 1-Card takes care of that.

Grand Central District Businesses can join the 1-Card program for $199/year. If you are already a Grand Central District Association member, it will cost $99 plus your pro-rated membership renewal.
Each business decides what they want their offer to be. They can email gcda@grandcentraldistrict.org with the information, and they can also log in to their account on LocalShops1.com and enter that information. Businesses are encouraged to give out the 1-Card to their customers.
