Committee Updates
In October we asked for your input on how we can serve our district more effectively. We are using that information to inform our 2017 Work Plans. Thank you to all who took the time to fill out our survey!

Membership Committee: We have updated our Membership levels, if you are interested in becoming a member of the Grand Central District Association check out these benefits ( .

Design Committee: The Design Committee will be focusing on creating a plan for additional lighting for the district, irrigation and re-planting for the pots along Central Avenue. We will also be advocating for sidewalk repairs in some of our more hazardous blocks.

Marketing and Promotion Committee: The Marketing and Promotion Committee will be focusing on marketing both the district as a whole as well as individual businesses through events, promotions and advertising.

Economic Vitality Committee: Our district is changing much faster than the public’s perception. Our goal is to work with stakeholders to continue to move the needle on public perception so that more and more locals and tourists alike want to experience all that the Grand Central District and it’s businesses have to offer!

If you are interested in serving on a committee, please reach out to Tawnee ( to become involved — there is something for everyone. We Would Love Your Good Ideas, Energy and Enthusiasm.
